Bonus blog, Girona Day 2

Had such a busy day today thought it would be worth sharing, plus easier than trying to post more single pics on Insta!

Started the day with a wander around the part of the green way which is an off road cycle, running and walking track. Plenty of people walking their dogs and quite a few people running - the natives do seem quite outdoorsy!

we followed this up by exploring the old town since last night was all the other side of the bridge(s). The old town used to Moorish and has held onto it's medieval charm with narrow cobbled streets, beautiful old cathedrals and churches and scenes you might recognise from Game of Thrones!

I also found a cycle coffee shop call La Fabrica which I have seen a few times on other cyclists Vlogs. It is owned by an ex-pro and run by his wife, the staff are very friendly and Bongo was welcomed in. Half the menu options were vegan and it was all delightful! :P

Now I'm not sure how many mile we walked, maybe 5? I doubt more, but after crushing down some figs and apples (and because the weather was so good) we set out again to climb a hill I had spotted from the river walk. This actually ended up being an impromptu mountain walk of about 12 miles! Bearing in mind this is all out of the front door with no driving required.

Bongo had a great day - now sparked right out!
